Since the outbreak was declared on 15 May, over 900 suspected cases and 223 deaths have been reported. The outbreak involves the rare Bundibugyo strain, for which no vaccines or treatments exist. WHO declared a Public Health Emergency of International Concern. Africa CDC approved a $319 million budget, only 10% secured. South Africa pledged $5 million."
