As of 27 May, over 1,200 cases and 250 deaths had been reported; WHO declared a PHEIC on 17 May. No licensed vaccine exists for the Bundibugyo strain. Treatment includes supportive care, remdesivir, and monoclonal antibodies in clinical trials. Risk to the UK is very low."
