"The Africa CDC confirmed a new Ebola outbreak in DR Congo's remote Ituri province, with 246 suspected cases and 65 deaths. Uganda reported one imported case from Congo, with the patient dying in Kampala. The virus was identified as Bundibugyo strain, against which the Ervebo vaccine is ineffective. WHO released $500,000 for response. The affected areas are near borders with Uganda and South Sudan."
