"An angry crowd set fire to tents at Rwampara General Hospital in Bunia, Ituri province, eastern DR Congo, after being prevented from taking the body of a suspected Ebola victim for burial. Police fired warning shots to disperse the crowd; a healthcare worker was injured. Two tents and a body were destroyed. Six patients were evacuated and are safe. The outbreak is caused by the Bundibugyo strain, with no approved vaccine. As of 22 May, 177 deaths and 750 suspected cases have been reported in DR Congo, with cases also in Uganda and a suspected case in M23-controlled South Kivu."
