"The WHO recommended that three experimental treatments for the Bundibugyo Ebola strain—MBP134, maftivimab, and remdesivir—and candidate vaccines be evaluated only in clinical trials to generate data. Merck's Ervebo should not be used outside research due to limited evidence of protection against this strain. An outbreak continues in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Uganda."
