This is the third largest and fastest growing Ebola outbreak on record. MSF reports that the response remains insufficient, with treatment centres at full capacity and surveillance systems strained. Ituri province accounts for 90% of cases. MSF operates seven Ebola treatment centres and 15 isolation units across four provinces, with over 430 beds.
