"The CDC has published a situation summary on an outbreak of Ebola disease caused by Bundibugyo virus in remote areas of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and Uganda. No cases have been confirmed in the United States. The risk to the American public and travelers is low. No approved vaccine exists for this virus; treatment is limited to supportive care. Most cases are in people aged 20–39, and two-thirds are female. This is the 17th Ebola outbreak in DRC since 1976."
